Below ground the Comfrey naps and renews its strength for the next season. Above ground it decays  slowly, nourishing its surroundings.  

In the spring fresh growth emerges, popping up through the decomposing stems and leaves of last year’s mother plant..

A Bumblebee diligently collects nectar before the flowers die out. 

Depending on the weather, the Comfrey is either Open Air Dried, mimicking the process it undergoes in nature or dried in the Green House for greater climate control.
