How Mountain Weather Impacts You

Weather plays a significant role in shaping life on the mountain. It governs everything from the nursery's planting and growing conditions to the processing of nursery products.  Seasonal weather conditions can also impact non-nursery items such as art or dry goods. Not often, but occasionally, extreme weather can cause power outages, effecting communication and shipping. 

Extreme Weather Conditions:

  1. Ms. J's Mountain is located in a high elevation rural setting which does not   receive USPS mail delivery or pick-up.
  2.  A personal visit to the post office is necessary to handle USPS shipments. Therefore, during winter, shipping times may be affected by weather and road conditions, so I appreciate your patience and understanding.
